AI JAM 2023 – Cultivating Connections: Global Inspiration. Local Activation

The Appreciative Inquiry Jam is an annual gathering where AI practitioners can come to revitalize their practice, meet and learn from their peers, and create opportunities for generative connections. Participants will hear from and connect with people who are using a strength-based approach to achieve meaningful outcomes in today's world.

Join us for the 3rd virtual gathering of AI practitioners – the AI Jam! The goal of the AI Jam is to bring together Appreciative Inquiry practitioners, connect them to inspiration and to each other, and to revitalize their practice. We will announce a full schedule soon, but it will flow very similarly to last year’s Jam:

• Day 1 – Inspiration from Thought Catalysts & Global Dialogues: 5-6 synchronous sessions throughout the day (~9am-6pm ET), with inspirational speakers and opportunities for connections, including:
  • Our Earthshot Moment: Fueling the Creation of a World of Full Spectrum Flourishing through Appreciative Inquiry, David Cooperrider
  • Nurturing a Tapestry of Intercultural Equity & Belonging: Illuminating Global Processes that Magnify the Impact of Local Actions! Tanya Cruz Teller and Marlene Ogawa
  • AI for Life: Putting Life-Centric Practices at the Heart of All We Do, Alex Arnold, Claudia Gross, Tojo Thatchenkery
  • Be Authentically ALIVE — Appreciate, Love, Inquire, Venture, Evolve… Jeanie Cockell and Joan Mcarthur-Blair

• Day 2 – 24 hours of Global Peer-to-Peer Inspiration: Hosts from across the globe are invited to offer talks or workshops on topics of their choice. Sessions are presented in various time zones to increase global accessibility.

• Day 3 – Connect and Activate: 5-6 synchronous sessions throughout the day (~9am-5pm ET) with community reflections on the event, time for Open Space, and a few speakers.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:

There are a number of ways to join in all things Jam – check them out below and email us with questions:

• FULL PARTICIPANT ($130): Unlimited access to all synchronous zoom sessions, all materials, and all recordings via our google site. ($180 in October)
• STUDENT PARTICIPANT ($65): Same access as full participant, but must provide proof of student status. ($90 in October)
• RECORDINGS ONLY PARTICIPANT ($50): Access only to the recordings of each session. Day 1 session recordings will be available at the end of Day 1. All other session recordings will be available as soon as we can upload them (please keep in mind this most likely means after the Jam is over).
• REGIONAL IN PERSON PARTICIPANT (Discounts available – connect with a regional host): Gather in person at one of the emerging regional in-person gatherings. Participation and session availability subject to host design. No need to register for the Jam through the Center, but please BE IN TOUCH with the regional hosts (please see above for email addresses).
