Establishing a coaching or mentor/mentee relationship with a resident or staff member can be tricky. How should a mentor coach his or her mentee? What does an ideal coaching relationship look like? In an effort to answer these questions, the Department of Surgery asked an expert to weigh in. Ralph Weickel is the President of Corporation for Positive Change, and is an expert on a variety of coaching models.
