I now work as a consultant to employers looking to adopt different work practices, particularly those that give employees more freedom, focus and feedback. I work with teams (whole workforces whenever possible) to develop a vision of a positive future and a principles framework within which they want to work. I then create with them the practical management systems, processes and ways of working that will help them achieve that together, stripping away the stuff that gets in the way of people and the organisation achieving its potential.
Education and Professional Experience:
MBA & MSc in HR Management (both with Open University). 15 years in-house as HR lead in small & medium sized companies (to 700 employees). Two years as self-employed consultant.
