SUMMARY:Social Connectedness: Compassionate Communities to Build Societal W
 ellbeing
DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\n\nSocial Connectedness: Compassionate Communities to Bu
ild Societal Wellbeing\n\n\n\nFacilitated by Tanya Cruz Teller and Marlene
Ogawa.\n\n\n\nIn this community of practice gathering we will focus on co
mpassionate communities - our experiences of them\, our future hopes for t
hem - and how they can help increase our a sense of connection to others a
nd even ourselves in this time of “the great social isolation.”  This
work builds on our Spaciousness Theory of Change on Relational &amp\; App
reciative Leadership\, the US Surgeon General’s report called Our Epidem
ic of Loneliness and Isolation: An Advisory on the Healing Effects of Soci
al Connection and Community and the Inner Development Goals (IDGs)\,  lin
ked to achieving the SDGs.  \n\n\n\nJoin us to explore&nbsp\; generative
questions that build compassion\, strengthen our relational leadership an
 d increase diversity\, equity\, accessibility\, inclusion and intercultura
l awareness. In a world where we see\, experience and hear much about divi
siveness\, we invite people to an appreciative inquiry into social connect
ion and the actions that build communities of wellbeing for all!\n\n\n\nSe
